"Census Deadline Moved to September 30; 3 in 10 Pennsylvanians Still Uncounted"
-- September 1, 2020
Hello,
With less than a month to go before the end of the 2020 U.S. Census, three in ten Pennsylvanians are still not counted. The deadline for the census has moved up from the previous end date of October 21 to September 30 — which means we have less than a month to go to close the gap!
The census is about more than a population count. It's how federal funds are distributed for health clinics and hospitals, schools, and roads and services; how districts are drawn; and how we build power for our communities.
John, it is vital that every single person is counted. Which is why we're asking:
Have you filled out your 2020 census form yet? It's not too late! Make sure you fill out your form online here before the deadline on September 30.
For centuries, Black communities have been notoriously undercounted in each census. That's why this year, Dwight is working hard to make sure every single Pennsylvanian gets counted.
The deadline is less than a month away, which means we need to make sure every single person participates before then!
Help Dwight make sure every voice is heard in the U.S. Census. Participate before the deadline, then spread the word to make sure your friends and loved ones complete their forms, too!
Thank you,
Team Evans
