Friend,
I just got off the phone with Carolyn and she’s fired up about turning out the vote for the November election! She asked me to get a note out to you straight away, because we looked at the calendar and realized the clock is ticking.
We are encouraging everyone who can to vote absentee — it’s easy and safe and allows you to vote in the comfort of your home. There are also drop boxes all over the 7th district if you don’t want to put your ballot in the mail. But we need you to request your absentee ballot ASAP, online, here: ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov
We don’t know what shenanigans will be thrown our way between now and November, but we do know that early voting is one of the surest ways to make your voice heard. If you vote absentee, you can even track the progress of your ballot at mvp.sos.ga.gov — from the time you make a request for a ballot to the moment your ballot is marked as received by the Board of Elections. With absentee ballots, the campaign can also count the ballots submitted and make sure all the votes are counted.
In short: we need everyone who can to fill out their absentee ballot applications as soon as possible so we can get votes in and troubleshoot any problems that come up.
Georgia launched a new online portal so this is quick and easy — no postage required, no emails. Click HERE to request a ballot now.
In just two months, we’ll face the most consequential election of our lifetime. Our very health and democracy are on the line — and we need to do everything it takes to get out the vote, protect our access to the ballot, and win.
So today, please make your plan to vote by mail:
1. Request your absentee ballot online here.
2. Absentee ballots will be mailed starting on September 15th. Once you receive your absentee ballot, fill it out and place your ballot in a drop box in your community or put it in the mail. To find up-to-date drop box locations visit us at www.carolyn4congress.com/vote
3. Check to make sure your ballot was accepted by going to the Secretary of State My Voter Page.
Let's be heard — and win!
