It was a busy month on the trail! From parades to county fairs, picnics, and lawn parties, I spent July out in the district — meeting neighbors and thanking first responders alongside the communities of Virginia's 6th District. Here's a look back at where we've been.

*The SAVE America Act*

*Securing Our Elections*

We cannot allow foreign countries to interfere and mislead voters, nor can we allow illegal aliens to vote in our elections. The right to vote is not only our civic duty, but it is the cornerstone of our great country and way of life. We must do all that we can to be good stewards of our government and prosperity for the generations of Americans to come.

That is why I’ve strongly supported the SAVE America Act and have voted for it each time it has passed the House of Representatives. The Senate must pass the SAVE America Act and secure our elections without question.

*The Veterans Entrepreneurship Act of 2026*

*Empowering Veterans Across the 6th District*

This week, I reintroduced the Veterans Entrepreneurship Act of 2026. This bill would empower veterans to achieve the American Dream by giving them access to the resources they need through their federal government benefits.

This legislation would empower veterans to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions and achieve the dream of owning a small business, while ensuring that the men and women who served and defended our nation receive the support and care they have earned.

*The Permanent Trump Secure Borders Act*

*Permanently Securing Our Borders*

Thanks to President Trump, the border is secure, and law and order are restored. July marked 15 consecutive months of zero releases at the border, underscoring another month of historic success in securing our Nation's borders. This continued progress strengthens border security, keeps Americans safe, and provides greater stability for communities across the country.

After four long years of the Biden Border Crisis, Republicans are closing the border and standing with the men and women who work every day to keep America safe.

As a member of the House Judiciary Committee, I recently voted to advance the Permanent Trump Secure Border Act out of Committee. This critical legislation would help ensure that our border remains secure and protected for the long term.

I joined the Craigsville VFD's annual Kickin' Chicken Dinner, thanking the volunteers who work tirelessly to keep our community safe.

*88th Annual Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Company Lawn Party & Fireman's Parade*
I celebrated 88 years of tradition at the Bridgewater VFC Lawn Party, marching in the Fireman's Parade and thanking the company's volunteers for their heroic service.

*Augusta-Rockingham Regional Republican Celebration Cookout*
With Fmr. Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears, RPV Chairman Jeff Ryer, Bert Mizusawa, Kim Farington & David Williams
I joined fellow Republican leaders from across the region — including former Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears, RPV Chairman Jeff Ryer, Bert Mizusawa, Kim Farington, and David Williams — for a cookout celebrating the party's grassroots supporters. It was great to see the room packed to the brim!
