Because of your hard work, your prayers, your financial sacrifices, and your votes, we are standing here today victorious. I am deeply honored and incredibly humbled to stand before you as your next Shelby County Mayor.

This victory does not belong to me, it belongs to the people of Shelby County. It belongs to every volunteer who stood at the polling sites in the summer heat, every neighbor who picked up the phone to talk to a stranger, and every supporter whose investment kept our message strong on television, radio, and online right up until the final minutes. Every single bit truly counted.
Last night at Minglewood Hall, looking out at the beautiful diversity of our community, I was reminded of why this fight mattered so much. I thought about the legacy of service passed down by my father, Myron Lowery. And most importantly, I looked at my wife and my daughters, knowing that together, we have just taken a massive step toward building a safer, more prosperous future for all of our children.
We ran a campaign rooted in a vision for One Shelby , a vision where executive experience, fiscal responsibility, and transparent leadership drive our county forward. Today, the politics are behind us, and the real work begins.
Whether you voted for me or not, please know this: I am ready to be a mayor for all of Shelby County. We will address public safety with urgency, invest strategically in our youth, expand economic opportunities in every zip code, and ensure our county government operates with absolute integrity.
