John,

BREAKING: Earlier this week, I filed my third lawsuit against Donald Trump's illegal tariffs.

This is the third time Trump has tried to force illegal tariffs onto Arizona's small businesses and families. I've beaten him in court twice already. And frankly? It's time to get angry.

Here's what he's doing now — slapping tariffs of 10% to 12.5% on goods from more than 80 countries, covering 99.4% of everything the United States imports.

And we're the ones who pay for it. Federal Reserve research shows nearly 90% of tariff costs land on American consumers and businesses — not foreign countries. That means higher grocery bills. More expensive rent. Higher prices at every small business in Arizona.

So I've joined a coalition of state attorneys general to sue again — because Donald Trump doesn't get to keep breaking the law.

But here's what's at stake in November. My opponent, Warren Petersen, has made clear he'd side with Trump and let these illegal tariffs stand — leaving Arizona families and small businesses to pay the price.

That's the choice: an Attorney General who keeps fighting Trump's illegal tariffs, or one who surrenders. I won this office by 280 votes. I need your help to keep this fight going.
