Hi JOHN, It’s Nick, Molly’s campaign manager. We’re just 4 days out from the primary, and our campaign is in full swing here at our HQ in downtown Burlington. I want to tell you why I’m so humbled and excited to be writing this message. I’ve worked in public service for over 10 years, starting with Americorps after college, and most recently, as city planner here in VT. I joined Molly’s campaign because I was so concerned about the future of Vermont and our country that I knew I couldn’t sit on the sidelines of this election. When I heard that Molly was running for Lt. Governor, I knew she was the candidate to beat John Rodgers and restore the Lt. Governor’s office to one that is using every tool available to fight for Vermonters– whether that means standing up against the Trump administration’s cruelty, supporting Vermont’s legislature as it wrestles with the thorny problems facing our state, or speaking up for those who need their voices heard in Montpelier. And I’m so glad I’ve joined this campaign. Traveling around the state with Molly and the team, hearing Vermonters talk about problems and their solutions, and seeing peoples’ determination to defend our state’s values has given me hope during a difficult time. I want to thank everyone who has supported us along the way; whether you were at the campaign kickoff or joined us yesterday, your support has propelled Molly into the lead. Now, we’re approaching the finish line, and we need your help to get us across. We need your help during these final days to get out the vote. Here’s how you can help: 1. Join a phone bank. If you have never phonebanked before, no worries– each shift starts with a training and ends with a debrief session, where we compare notes and experiences! 2. Stand at the polls. 3. Get your family and friends to vote. This primary will be decided by who shows up– so make sure everyone in your network has a plan to vote on or before election day. Check out the Secretary of State’s website for more information, or send us an email ([email protected]) and we can help you out! 4. Share your support on social media. If you’ve voted for Molly, post about it on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or TikTok– and tag us! More people than ever are turning to the people they know and trust on social media when they decide who to vote for. 5. If you haven’t already, chip in to help keep us communicating with Vermonters and travelling the state. Thank you. Nick, Campaign Manager
