They’re at it again… Another outside Republican group is funneling money into our district, launching new attacks against Abigail today.

The latest ad from the Club for Growth — a pro-GOP super PAC — attempts to mislead Virginia voters about Abigail’s pledge to refuse corporate PAC donations.

Only one candidate in this race refuses corporate PAC donations, and that’s Abigail. Only one candidate in this race is committed to campaign finance and good governance reforms, and that’s Abigail.

In fact, in Congress, Abigail was among the first-term Representatives who called on House leadership to make H.R. 1 — the largest, sweeping campaign finance reform bill in decades — a priority bill and bring it to the floor for a vote! Abigail also wrote a bill requiring Members of Congress, their spouses, and dependents to put all individually-owned stocks into a blind trust, so voters don’t ever have reason to doubt who they are working for.

So why are they attacking Abigail’s commitment to campaign reforms? Because voters want change just as much as Abigail, and the special interest groups know it!
