Senate Moves Toward Locking Fauci Up



The Senate Homeland Security Committee voted on Thursday to refer Anthony
Fauci for prosecution for contempt of Congress. The move came one week after he
infamously invoked the Fifth Amendment 111 times during his Senate “testimony.”
In case you missed it, he even pleaded the Fifth when Josh Hawleyasked him what

The referral authorizes JD Vance to certify the committee’s report to the
Justice Department, which said it is already weighing how to proceed. If
convicted of a misdemeanor contempt charge, Fauci could face up to one year in

Joe Biden ended his presidency with a whimper by pardoning Fauci during his
final day in the White House. That said, federal law enforcement is still
allowed to hold the former NIAID director accountable for possible crimes he

Kentucky Governor Orders Data Centers to Prove They Will Not Spike State
Residents’ Utility Bills



Data centers consume gargantuan amounts of energy, leading to monumental
utility bill hikes for everyday Americans living near the facilities. Put
simply, normal people who are just trying to get by have had to pay higher
rates even though they did nothing wrong. How profoundly unfair.

Andy Beshear became the latest American governor to declare this arrangement
unacceptable on Thursday, signing an executive order to curb the impact that
artificial intelligence infrastructure behemoths have on local ratepayers. The
order will require data center companies seeking to build facilities in
Kentucky to first detail how they will cover the entirety of their energy
costs. If it works as intended, it will save the good people of the Bluegrass

U.S. Suspends Avocado Inspections in Mexican State Due to Threat



The United States has suspended all government operations in the Mexican state
of Michoacán due to an unspecified “threat to U.S. interests.” That includes a
halt to avocado inspections.

The move is likely to disrupt avocado exports, as inspections are required
for the fruit (yes, avocados are technically a fruit) to ship to the U.S. from
Mexico. The American Embassy did not detail the nature of the threat in its
security alert, but the state’s governor disclosed that the suspension is
intended to safeguard workers following recent extortion-related arrests.

Located south of Texas and New Mexico on the Mexican Pacific coast, Michoacán
is the leading exporter of avocados to the U.S. and is home to at least four
operational cartels. Besides selling drugs, these criminal groups make money
through extortion, including of the avocado industry. Mexico sold $3.65 billion
worth of avocados to the U.S. last year, good for roughly 80% of our country’s

DOJ Offers Cities “BIDEN” Grants to Recoup Losses From Open Borders


The Justice Department is offering American cities $3 billion “BIDEN” grants
to help recoup losses caused by the confused former president’s immigration
policies.

Offered through the Bridging Immigration-related Deficits Experienced
Nationwide (BIDEN) program, the grants are among the largest sums the DOJ has
ever offered to local U.S. municipalities. They are intended to help cities
hire more police officers, upgrade technology, and build temporary detention
facilities for illegal migrants, theWashington Post reported. Municipalities
that seek the grants must pledge to work with federal immigration authorities
as they execute the Trump administration’s immigration agenda. That means no

James Talarico Headlined Pride Event With 11-Year-Old Drag Queen


Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico in 2021 headlined an LGBT festival
that featured "the absolute cutest & youngest of our drag performers," an
11-year-old boy "drag queen" named Kween Kee Kee, theWashington Free Beacon
reported on Thursday.

Old promotional materials show that Talarico and Kween Kee Kee were among the
event’s biggest attractions. Adult drag performers Brianna Brinxx and Sedonya
Face (pronounced sit-on-ya face) were some of the others. Kween Kee Kee,
sporting a shimmery blue dress, heavy eye makeup, and a platinum blonde wig,
performed a routine as part of the group's "Youth Drag Show."

Who the hell are Kween Kee Kee’s parents? How could they possibly do that to
their child? And would the good patriots of Texas really elect a creep like
Talarico who thought the whole thing wastotally cool? We seriously doubt it.

Strait of Hormuz Is “Sort of” Open, Trump Says. This Is Victory?



We guess this is good news?

Donald Trump told reporters on Thursday that the Strait of Hormuz is “sort of
open,” insisting that the United States controls the waterway but conceding
that Iran “can always shoot something.”

“They always have something, or drop a mine. And if you have one mine sitting
out there, you sort of mess things up, because people don’t wanna take their
billion-dollar boats and accidentally get hit by a mine,” the president said.
“But I think we’re doing very well. I just, you know, I’m involved in the
negotiation. I think it’s doing fine. It could be [done] soon.”

Is this what winning feels like? “Sort of” having the Strait open? Call us
Monday morning quarterbacks, but the Strait would still becompletely open if
Trump had resisted the urge to start a war with Iran on Israel’s behalf.

Court Hits Meta With $567 Million Penalty for Harming Children


A New Mexico court has ordered Instagram and Facebook parent company Meta to
pay $567 million to address the profound harm its products cause young people.
The penalty comes in addition to the $375 million fine that jurors ordered
against Meta in March after determining it knowingly harmed children’s mental
health and hid what it knew about child sexual exploitation on its platforms.

The ruling comes amid an avalanche of lawsuits against the company for
contributing to the destruction of children by allegedly going out of its way
to design Instagram and Facebook to get kids addicted. 29 states filed a
federal multidistrict lawsuit in 2023.

Most of the $567 million will go toward treatment services for young people.
The rest will support awareness and prevention, screening services, and other
costs over the next five years. Meta must also delete personal information it
has collected from users under 13. Pretty creepy that they ever gathered that

Froot Loops Are About to Look a Lot Different


Froot Loops are ready to Make America Healthy Again.

WK Kellogg announced on Thursday that it will remove artificial colors from
all of its cereals by the end of this year. The company produces well-known
products like Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes, Pops, and more. It is
also eliminating the artificial preservative BHT, which is a man-made chemical.
Studies have shown that large amounts of BHT can increase cancer risk and
affect hormone levels. If you think about it for two seconds, it quickly
becomes shocking that Americans ever ate it during breakfast in the first place.

RFK Jr’s influence has helped push U.S. companies away from including this
garbage in their food. Retailers are also doing their part, as Target and
Walmart have each announced plans to remove artificial colors from their store

Everyone Knows Big Tech Is Watching Them. But Do You Realize How Closely?


This 2023 Pew Research study
<[link removed]>
shows that Americans firmly oppose the surveillance state.

81% of respondents expressed concern about how private companies use the
personal information they collect on regular people. 67% reported having
“little to no understanding” of what the firms do with that data. 73% said they
believe they have barely any control, if any at all, over the records that
corporate America and the government possess on them.

The survey’s participants hit the nail on the head. Most people might not
realize it, but Americans consent to Big Tech spying on them every day. The
extent of the constant monitoring is jarring. Intrusive companies know which TV
shows you watch, the amount of force your fingers use when you type, and can
even predict your bladder tendencies from thousands of miles away. We are not
joking. They arethat up in your business.

Our country’s status as the world’s top “democracy” should guarantee that our
leaders would not allow this to happen. They are supposed to adhere to the
public's will. But they do not. Instead, Washington is actively colluding with
the private sector to ensure that Americans remain under Big Brother’s watchful
eyeat all times. The arrangement guarantees that our population is not truly
free, and there is no feasible way for the overwhelming majority of people to
opt out. Telling adults with jobs and families to simply toss their technology
in the garbage and move to a remote desert or forest is not a real solution. It
is like how the Biden administration scoffed at college students who did not
want the COVID vax that they couldjust drop out. People cannot simply upend
their lives. They have too much skin in the game.

Americans are generally aware of this story. They know that Big Tech has
scattered their data everywhere, including into the possession of hostile
foreign governments, and that they can do little about it. At the same time,
most people do not understand how precisely the operation works. That is why

August 7, 1912: The Bull Moose Party nominates Teddy Roosevelt for president.
Dissatisfied Republicans created the progressive Bull Moose Party as an
alternative to the GOP, hoping to return Roosevelt to the White House after his
handpicked successor, William Howard Taft, embraced an agenda too traditional
for their liking. A key point of Roosevelt’s platform was the “Square Deal,”
which sought to create a pro-labor government and increase welfare for the
poor. The Bull Moose Party’s creation split the Republican vote, handing the
presidency to Democrat Woodrow Wilson. He went on to send Americans to die in
World War I.
