Despite the dangerous misinformation peddled by President Trump and his Republican enablers, the coronavirus pandemic is still raging and still wreaking havoc on our nation and the world.
The pandemic is presenting unprecedented challenges. Impacted Americans, as well as state and local governments struggling to support the pandemic relief effort, need resources now. And voters need protections to make sure they can safely cast their ballots.
As COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to rise, the coronavirus’s devastating impacts continue to be felt by so many people all across the country. As Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate Majority prepare to return to DC next week, we expect them to continue their refusal to pass the HEROES Act – which could provide immediate help to countless people in need.
They may offer a "plan" but don't be fooled; they'll propose CUTS in the relief contained in the HEROES Act in favor of a reckless and fast-tracked plan to reopen the nation.
Demand that the Senate pass the HEROES Act and provide relief to those who need it most!>>
We must continue putting pressure on Senate Republicans and not let up. If Congress delays passing the HEROES Act any longer, our health, democracy, and our beloved USPS -- that so many Americans depend on and which the HEROES Act will help fund -- will all be at risk.
