Hi, my name is Mike Bouchard.
I JUST BECAME THE OFFICIAL REPUBLICAN NOMINEE FOR CONGRESS IN

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I'm a third generation Michigander. My grandfather served in the Army
in World War II, came home, and worked 33 years on the floor at
General Motors. My dad has spent his career in law enforcement.

From a young age I learned that service isn't a slogan in my family.
It's a duty.

I joined ROTC at Michigan State and commissioned as an Infantry
Officer. I led a platoon and commanded a company in the 101st
Airborne. I ran intelligence for a 4,400 person brigade in the 82nd
Airborne. I served at our southern border.

After I left active duty, the National Guard called and asked me to go
to Iraq. I had 20 days to get my life in order.
I spent nine months there advising Iraqi and Kurdish forces on the
mission to finish ISIS. I helped direct $450 million in counter ISIS
aid. I supported more than 20 partner strike missions against ISIS
targets.

There were nights I wasn't sure I'd make it home.
I did. And twelve days after I got back, I filed to run for Congress.
Now let me tell you what we are up against.
Hakeem Jeffries wants this seat. _Badly._
This is an open seat in a blue collar district that gets decided by
inches. The last time it was open, it was won by LESS THAN ONE
PERCENT. Democrats have it ranked in their top three targets in the
entire country.
That means millions of dollars in attack ads aimed at a guy who just
got home from a war zone.
Running a competitive congressional race is expensive, and our
resources went into winning this primary. I'M HUMBLY ASKING FOR YOUR
HELP REBUILDING FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION, WHICH STARTS RIGHT NOW.
