Hi John,

We received big news yesterday from the Maine Secretary of State that almost 120,000 absentee ballots have already been requested by Maine voters for the November election… and nearly 60% of the requests have come from Democrats across the state! (For context, in 2016 at this point, there were only around 4,700 absentee ballots requested.)

This is great news, but now is not the time to take our foot off the gas. Will you donate $20.20 to help us build our GOTV operation and elect Democrats up and down the ticket?

The next step is making sure those ballots get returned to their election clerks in time to be counted! Our Get Out the Vote (GOTV) effort this year will be different -- instead of focusing all of our energy on the run up to election day, we will be chasing ballot returns from now through the close of the polls.

But we can’t do it alone. Will you help us make sure every ballot is returned in time by contributing $20.20 or whatever you can afford right now?

With as many as 600,000 Maine voters expected to vote absentee this year, the importance of making sure those votes are returned and counted is paramount. With your support, we can make sure every voter has their voice heard and every vote counts.
