The Actors Fund

Dear Actors Fund Friends,

Storytelling is what unites all forms of art: dance, singing, writing, photography, acting, painting and so much more. We all chose different mediums to share our story, but the important part is finding outlets to make our voices heard.

This is no different when it comes to completing the 2020 United States Census. This is your chance to make sure you and your family members are reflected in your community. Your life and your story count. The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities every year for the next decade. This includes money for public transit, schools, natural disaster responses, senior care and so much more.

Learn more and complete the Census at my2020census.gov. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and the impact will last for the next 10 years. The deadline was just changed too, so you only have until September 30 to make your voice count…and you won’t have this chance again until 2030. Act now.

Once your Census is complete, we hope you enjoy these upcoming productions! As always, we’re so pleased to share these virtual performances with you, and thank you for your ongoing commitment to the performing arts and entertainment community.

Join Ben Davis (Dear Evan Hansen), Kenita Miller (Once On This Island), Jackie Burns (Wicked, If/Then) and Chad Jennings (Wicked) for Play Reading Fridays's production of Donald Margulies's dark comedy Dinner With Friends, benefiting The Actors Fund.

The play is a funny yet bittersweet examination of the married lives of two couples who have been extremely close for dozens of years. Although it seems to be treading on familiar ground, the play keeps changing its perspective to show how one couple's breakup can have equally devastating effects on another's stability.
