President's Message August is National Immunization Awareness Month, a time to recognize the vital role school nurses play in protecting the health of students, schools, and communities. As families prepare for the new school year, school nurses provide trusted, evidence-based information, address vaccine questions with compassion and professionalism, collaborate with families and healthcare providers, and help remove barriers to care. Your leadership strengthens individual student health while supporting the well-being of the entire school community.
