Hi John, it’s Sal — Mary Gay’s campaign manager. I’ve heard from a lot of folks that they are nervous about voter protection and scared the Trump administration will mess with the November election. Do you feel the same?

Honestly, I understand the concern. The GOP has spent years sowing doubt about our elections, their integrity, and creating doubt in order to push voter suppression, intimidation, litigation, and disinformation. They’re organized, they’re well-funded, and they have proven they are willing to do all they can to hold onto power, especially here in Pennsylvania.

So what is Team Scanlon doing about it?

* We’re taking a leadership role in making sure every polling location in SEPA has trained poll watchers and a team of lawyers ready to protect your vote.
