Millions of Americans rely on Social Security. But now, recipients are set to
face an$18,000 benefit cut in just seven years.

Hard-working Americans spent decades paying into Social Security and Medicare
with every paycheck, trusting that when they retire, these benefits would be
waiting for them. Thanks to the “big, beautiful bill,” all of that is now at
risk.

If this happens, it would at least double the poverty rate of America's
seniors. Is this really how we want to thank our seniors for all of their hard
work over the years?

I’ve always believed that we need to protect our Social Security and Medicare
programs. I will never stand by and watch Donald Trump and his MAGA allies put
these earned benefits on the chopping block.
