U.S. Representatives Steve Cohen and Mary Gay Scanlon; Rich Lowry, editor of National Review; and Suzanne Nossel, CEO of PEN America and author of Dare to Speak: Defending Free Speech for All, join for a conversation exploring the rights of journalists when covering protests and government response to protests in turbulent times. College Board CEO David Coleman joins National Constitution Center President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen for a special conversation about why we should study the Founding documents, the value of dissent, and what we can learn from Athens and Rome. The session will conclude with the ideas behind the practice of civil dialogue skills where we channel our inner Louis Brandeis who famously remarked, “Come let us reason together!”
