John,
The sold-out Martha's Vineyard Comedy Fest Opening Night Benefit was a joyful start to this year's Joy on the Vineyard ([link removed]) series. Together, we celebrated children through an evening of laughter, connection, and community.
Now, the conversation continues.
This Saturday, we invite those spending August on Martha's Vineyard, or just coming up for the weekend, to join us for an important conversation on the well-being of Black children. Schott Foundation for Public Education President and CEO Dr. John H. Jackson ([link removed]) and Children’s Defense Fund Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Brittany Packnett Cunningham ([link removed]) will examine the unique challenges Black children face and inspire families, advocates, and community leaders to act with renewed purpose and possibility.

Admission is free. We hope you join us for this powerful conversation—and bring a friend, an advocate, or a young person. Your participation helps advance our mission to ensure every child grows up with dignity, hope, and joy.
