Hi John, it's
Aimee from Powered by People.

Over the weekend, we found out that thousands of Texas voters were wrongly
removed from the voter rolls. A Trump administration database mistakenly
flagged them as noncitizens, leading to their removal.

[ [link removed] ]Headline: "State finds some registered Texas voters were wrongly
flagged as potential noncitizens: The secretary of state told counties to
immediately reinstate any Texans who were removed from the voter roll
despite showing DPS proof of citizenship."; attached is image of polling
volunteers wheeling a voting machine at the Brook Hollow Branch Library
polling location, in front of them in the photo is a line of voters

This is why our work in Powered by People is so important.

Because we've built personal relationships with every single voter in our
network — 26,000 from 2026 alone, 68,000 in total since 2024 — we can
reach out directly to those voters who might be affected and ensure their
right to vote is restored before the October 5th voter registration
deadline.

We’ve already contacted every voter in our network marked with "inactive"
status to ensure that we get them back to "active" — whether that means
updating their address or challenging their wrongful removal from the
rolls by the Trump administration.

Imagine if every Texas voter had a personal support system like this. We
can overcome election interference by the Abbott and Trump administrations
through the work that our volunteers do every single day.

But having a voter outreach program at this scale takes real resources,
and we rely on supporters like you to help keep it up and running.

[ [link removed] ]Will you chip in $3 today to help us get every affected
voter back to "active" and expand our reach to even more voters across
Texas?

Thank you,

Aimee Prudhomme
