We recently launched our Presidential Appointments Initiative – our effort to ensure that LGBTQ voices are represented at all levels of government, including appointed officials. As Raffi and Eric said, having an LGBTQ voices in the room makes a huge difference. When our voices are heard, it not only changes the way LGBTQ people are perceived but improves the everyday lives of people everywhere.
