john, today is Primary Day!

When I filled out my ballot, I paused to reflect on everything that's made this campaign what it is.

I've talked with parents trying to make ends meet, seniors who are worried about protecting Medicare and Social Security, veterans, teachers, health care workers, small business owners, and so many others who just want a government that listens, delivers, and puts people ahead of politics…or their own interests.

Every single conversation has stuck with me. They reminded me of some of the conversations I had at the doors in 2018, when I decided to run for Congress in the first place. In that election, we flipped this seat blue for the first time, saw record turnout, put a big check on Donald Trump, and got to work on things like $35 insulin and a big infrastructure package to rebuild the nation and invest in clean energy. Now, in his second term, we're seeing Trump unrestrained. That is one reason the outcome of this election is so critical.

Every decision I make is about the people I have the privilege of representing—not special interests or partisan politics. Who you send to Congress matters. And what we're focused on is standing up for the people I represent and shaping the future we all want for us and our children.

This campaign wouldn't exist without good people like you, and I am beyond grateful for your support. My work in Congress has always been powered by people like you who believe we can solve problems, protect our fundamental freedoms, and build a future that's brighter for the next generation.
