One by one, the platforms where most Americans actually get their news are
being captured by right-wing billionaires. And the "news" flooding those
feeds is being captured right along with them.

Elon Musk bought Twitter and turned it into a MAGA megaphone. In January,
a consortium including Trump ally Larry Ellison's Oracle took over
TikTok's U.S. operations — with Oracle overseeing the algorithm that
decides what 170 million Americans see.

And Mark Zuckerberg? He killed Meta's fact-checking program, then started
signing AI content deals with Fox News, The Daily Caller, the Washington
Examiner, News Corp — and last week, Newsmax.

Here's what the billionaires buying these platforms don't want you to
know: their playbook only works if there's nothing credible competing in
the feed.

That's where COURIER comes in.
