Happy Labor Day!
Today, I want to give appreciation to all of my supporters and volunteers. Your efforts not only help me prosper, but also demonstrate how labor movements make a community strong. We have the ability to move forward for the well-being of all!
Thank you to our labor forces for being part of the prosperity, strength and well-being of not just our city, but the country.
You educate our children.
You take care of our elderly.
You protect our communities.
You provide our healthcare and maintain our city systems.
Throughout 2019, Teressa has met up with neighbors in city parks, county libraries and local coffee shops all over Portland. Through these campaign events, people have been able to pose questions, share opinions, comments and get to know her one on one. We will be in downtown Portland at Revolucion Coffee House starting next Monday, September 9th. Teressa will be posted Mondays in September.
Stop by and talk with us about whatever challenges you’re facing as a business owner, a working individual, or even as a Portland community member in general.
If you’d like us to come to your neighborhood, let us know your favorite coffee shop and we’ll reach out to the owners! Bring your friends and neighbors. Contact us: [email protected]
If you are interested in assisting with event organizing, we have a public upcoming meeting at Belmont Library on September 17th, 2019 from 6pm-7pm. There are also a few house parties scheduled this month - if you are interested in attending or canvassing in those neighborhoods, reach out to the campaign!
