Dear Friend,

A federal judge in Georgia just ruled that two-year-old Simone Mize-Gregg has been a U.S. citizen since she was born! Even though her parents Derek Mize and Jonathan Gregg are married, and are both U.S. citizens, the U.S. State Department treated baby Simone as “born out of wedlock”—and refused to recognize her U.S. birthright citizenship.

We fought in court for the family alongside Lambda Legal and are overjoyed they got justice. But no one can express how good the win felt better than Derek, Jonathan, and Simone. Just watch:

Friend—your support makes these victories possible. Can you contribute $100 today so we can keep winning for LGBTQ families?

DONATE $100 TO OUR FIGHT FOR FAMILIES

A generous donor is MATCHING ALL NEW GIFTS THIS YEAR, so if you give today, your donation will count double! Remember that any contribution, big or small, makes a huge difference.

Simone's citizenship is reason to celebrate, but the Trump administration will almost certainly appeal the decision. With your help, we can keep advocating until we strike down the U.S. State Department’s discriminatory policy and achieve equality and justice for all LGBTQ families.

GIVE $100 TO SUPPORT LGBTQ FAMILIES TODAY

Thank you for joining us in this fight,
