Friend —

I need you to sit with this number for a second: one point.

That's it. That's the entire gap between me and Greg Abbott right now, according to a brand-new Fox News poll — yes, Fox News.

In nearly twelve years as governor, through three elections, Greg Abbott has never faced a poll this close. Not once. His campaign has already spent over $54 million this cycle just to hang on to power. This poll says people aren’t buying what he’s selling anymore.

Here's why it's happening: Texans are falling behind financially and they know exactly who's been in charge while it happened. Nearly 4 in 10 Texans say inflation is the top issue on their minds — and after 12 years of Greg Abbott, they're done waiting around for things to get better.

I'm not surprised. I've been hearing it at every stop — from Brownsville to Austin to Amarillo. Families are tired of watching their grocery bills and insurance premiums climb while Abbott hands billions to his donors.

This 1-point poll shows that a new chapter for Texas is finally in reach. But it’s not guaranteed. Turnout will decide this election. And Abbott's team knows it — they're going to spend the next 93 days doing everything they can to make sure Texans who are ready for change don't show up to the polls to vote. They will do anything to keep Texans from turning the page on his failed administration.

I can't outspend Greg Abbott, and I don’t need to. Our campaign can out-organize him, but that takes people like you stepping up right now to raise the resources we need to win this race.

Can you chip in $15 split between Deb Haaland's campaign and my campaign to help us keep closing this gap and — finally — take back Texas?

We've never been this close. Let's make sure we don't waste this opportunity.

Gina
