For generations, the Oceti Sakowin people have gathered at Pipestone National Monument in Minnesota to quarry sacred red pipestone, hold ceremonies, and carry on traditions that continue today.

Now, a fossil fuel corporation wants to build an oil pipeline through this sacred place.

Tell the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to reject the pipeline and protect Pipestone National Monument. ([link removed])

Last year, thousands of public comments helped convince Minnesota regulators to rescind the pipeline permit after determining Tribal consultation was inadequate. But Magellan has returned with a new cultural survey that once again excludes Tribal Nations, the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council, and important sacred sites.

The Commission is accepting public comments again, and your voice can help stop this project for good.
