** It’s hard to believe we’re already in August. With Election Day drawing closer, our campaign is entering one of the most important stretches of the race. In the weeks ahead, we’ll be knocking on doors, continuing to meet voters in communities across the district, and building the coalition we need to win in November. Before we dive into everything that’s ahead, I wanted to take a moment to look back at July—a month filled with incredible momentum, meaningful conversations, and milestones that brought us one step closer to our goal. None of it would have been possible without your support, and I’m so grateful to have you on this journey with me.

** Best, Eileen.

July might have been the campaign’s busiest month yet! It was packed full of events, and I enjoyed every moment of connection with the people of this district.
I visited six counties this month, and was able to attend a variety of different events across the district. Some of the highlights were attending the Bobstock Music Festival in Morgan County, taking my kids and grandkids to the Brush rodeo, and getting to have meaningful conversations with so many different people at my booth at Wray Daze!
It was so much fun getting to meet hundreds of people at the five meet and greets we held across the district in July. I was able to hear from Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike about the challenges being faced by the people of this district, and got to tell folks about my plans to lower costs and fight corruption once I get to Congress.
There’s nothing like a summer parade, and I had so much fun marching in four parades this month. We started out with the Fourth of July parade in Highlands Ranch, where my grandkids and I had a blast handing out candy. I got to meet lots of great folks at the Eaton Days parade, and really enjoyed seeing all the cow-themed trucks at the Who Let the Herd Out parade in Akron. We closed out the month at the Douglas County Fair Parade in Castle Rock, where I was inspired by the number of supporters in the crowd!
I’ve been making my way across the district meeting with each hospital, and was able to visit three hospitals in July. It’s been a priority for me to hear directly from health care workers about the challenges they’re facing and their thoughts on how I can help support their work when I get to Congress. I heard from Wray Hospital about the difficulties of being one of the few rural hospitals on the Eastern plains that is equipped to deliver babies, and from East Morgan County Hospital about our flawed payer system. It was also very special to visit the Children’s One Hangar that services the rural hospitals of CD4.
Some exciting news from the district: Link On Demand rideshare service is expanding into Castle Rock! As of July 31st, riders can book free rides anywhere in Castle Rock.
I’m looking forward to visiting with my neighbors during National Night Out on August 4th — it’s a fun way to build community and reinforce partnerships between residents and public safety agencies.
