Our campaign for progress was tested this month, John, more than any month before. Gil was hit with a misleading attack ad from his opponent, the largest Republican super PAC announced a major ad blitz in our media market, the list goes on.

But here’s the thing: You stepped up.

When we most needed proof of our campaign’s mettle, hundreds of grassroots donors from across the district -- and beyond! -- stepped up to ensure that our movement could continue to evolve, grow, and fight back hard.

So from the bottom of our hearts, John, thank you. We’re running an operation by the people, for the people -- and, wow, did you all make your voices heard over this past month. We’re thrilled to report that we not only exceeded our August online fundraising goal -- but, John, we raised more online this month than any other month this year. That’s impressive, and it’s all because of you.
