Last week, Senate Republicans spent hours berating Dr. Anthony Fauci before Congress.
Not to uncover new evidence.
Not to expose corruption.
Not to make Americans safer.
They did it because attacking public servants is easier than holding powerful people accountable.

As the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, I have a very different view of what Congress should be investigating.
We should be exposing corruption.
We should be following the money.
We should be investigating abuses of power, self-dealing, and whether taxpayer dollars are being used to benefit politicians and their wealthy allies.
That's real oversight.
Instead, Republicans have turned one of Congress's most important committees into a stage for political theater—using hearings to settle partisan scores while ignoring the misconduct happening right in front of them.
Dr. Fauci dedicated more than five decades to public service. You don't have to agree with every decision made during the pandemic to recognize that Congress shouldn't be inventing crimes to score political points.
The truth is, none of this changes until Democrats win back the House.
The Oversight Committee should be holding the Trump administration accountable for real abuses of power, like Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s attacks on science, or Trump’s family self dealing, or the Epstein Files!
We should not be wasting taxpayer dollars trying to criminalize scientists and career public servants.
That's the work I'm ready to do.
But first, we have to earn the majority.
Will you chip in $15 today to help Democrats take back the House so we can restore real oversight, real accountability, and a Congress that focuses on actual corruption instead of manufactured outrage? [[link removed]]
