Not to provide comfort or show support for Jacob Blake and his family. Or to condemn the police officers who assisted a white nationalist in the murders of two protestors.
Trump went to Kenosha to congratulate their police department on a job well done. "Today, I'm there for law enforcement and for the National Guard, because they've done a great job in Kenosha.” -Trump

We know Trump doesn’t care about injustice. But we’re also not sure if Michael Graveley, the District Attorney of Kenosha County, will arrest the police officers who helped Kyle Rittenhouse murder two protestors, let alone bring charges against the officers who shot Jacob Blake seven times in the back.
The sad reality is that one of the most common challenges to holding police accountable is the unwillingness of the local prosecutor.
We can change that. Real Justice recruits, equips, and elects progressive prosecutors who are unafraid of the police. There are 2,400 district attorneys across the country, and we are running campaigns to replace them with reformers who will finally hold cops accountable.
We’ve already made significant progress this year supporting our endorsed candidates to victory. From Florida, to St. Louis — we’re making sure change reaches all of our communities.
But electing progressive-minded candidates also means going toe-to-toe with powerful law enforcement groups and private prison corporations who have a financial interest in continuing our system of mass incarceration. We can’t take them on without you.
