Hi, Amy here — Gina’s
campaign manager.

There’s a persistent myth in our nation’s politics that we can’t win in
Texas. But when you’re on the ground in Texas — you’ll see and hear that
isn’t true. Texans are eager for change. But we have to turnout the vote.

In 2024, 80.3% of Republicans turned out to vote, compared to just 58.5%
of Democrats. A 22-point gap. That 22-point gap is the only reason Greg
Abbott stays in power.

But in the primary we saw the highest turnout we’ve seen in years with
more Democrats voting than Republicans.

Gina is building a coalition that brings together Democrats, Republicans,
and Independents – but we have to do the work to be sure our supporters
get to the polls.

Our path to victory is proving that Texans have a reason to show up to the
polls and vote for a candidate who will actually work for them.

When we reach our voters face-to-face in every community across Texas, we
win. But running mobilization efforts across this enormous state takes
bigger resources.
