It’s back . . .

Last month, because of efforts and pressure from patriots like you, FISA Section 702 lapsed when Congress couldn’t agree on renewal.

But last week, the Senate confirmed Jay Clayton as the new Director of National Intelligence.

Some Democrat senators refused to vote for FISA renewal simply on the grounds of who was keeping the director’s seat warm.

Now Majority Leader John Thune is hoping to RAM 702 renewal through before the Senate leaves town for the remainder of the month.

“We will have a permanent director of national intelligence in place shortly. And I hope this will encourage my colleagues to stop blocking the reauthorization of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act,” Thune said.

But having a palatable director in place doesn’t make Section 702 constitutional. Our government should never be allowed to spy on you and me without a warrant!

Grassroots patriots like YOU threw a wrench into their plans to renew one of the most dangerous surveillance powers ever handed to the federal government — FISA Section 702.

Section 702 – the Deep State’s “crown jewel” – has been abused time after time.

The FISA Court itself said the government committed “widespread violations” of the rules governing searches of Americans.A declassified FISA Court opinion from 2022 revealed that the FBI ran about 278,000 improper searches of Americans.

Now, many former Section 702 opponents in Congress have changed their tune.

They seem to be content the government has conducted “only” 70,000-plus warrantless searches of Americans’ phone calls, text messages, and emails.

The mainstream media constantly “reports” Section 702 allows the U.S. intelligence community to gather information on foreigners.

But time and time and time again, they’ve used FISA 702 to spy on innocent Americans.

They apologize . . . and then do it again.

You and I need to put the pressure on Congress to slam the door on warrantless spying on Americans.

Tell Congress: If you want my text messages, my emails, my phone calls. . .
