Hi John, it's Governor Gretchen Whitmer ‑‑ you might also know me as "Big Gretch" or even "that woman from Michigan."
But however you know me, you know that I've always been a fighter ‑‑ for my fellow Michiganders, and for all Americans. And with all the chaos going on, this election year is crucial, and it's going to take all of us fighting like hell to win.
If you already know how important the midterm elections are, please donate $7 or whatever is right for you to help elect Democrats to the Senate and win back the majority.
Right now, with all of the chaos coming out of Republican‑controlled Washington, we're stuck with a Senate in the GOP's hands ‑‑ and they're doing nothing but cutting our healthcare, cutting good‑paying jobs, and cutting billionaires' taxes.
If we want that to change, then it's up to us to take care of business, because enough is enough: We need to take back the Senate.
None of us can afford to sit back on the sidelines of this fight. All of us must do our part to defend all blue seats, especially in battleground states like Georgia and my home state of Michigan, and flip four red seats to win the Senate majority.
The great news is, there are more than four states with vulnerable GOP opponents, and we have strong Democratic candidates in all of them ‑‑ that's multiple paths to the majority!
Taking back power starts here and now ‑‑ with you! The best way to get involved and support Democrats running for Senate, including those doing the tough work of flipping seats in critical states, is by contributing to the DSCC. The DSCC is the only committee solely dedicated to electing Democrats to the Senate.
