Let me explain the story behind this picture

Patriot, this picture speaks volumes about who I am.
That’s me guarding Marine One, the president’s personal
helicopter, when serving in the Marine Corps. From a young age, I knew
I wanted to serve my nation. What I didn’t realize was that the
Lord’s plan for me would humble me in so many ways.
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I knew I had to serve
my country, so I joined the Marine Corps. Months after joining, I was
selected out of dozens to serve as the president's personal escort.
After my time in the Marine Corps, I returned to my hometown and set
out to serve the community that raised me. I became a pastor at my
local church and eventually became mayor. I was blessed with every
opportunity to serve my community, to make the world a better place.
My job title changed, but the core values that I live my life by never
did. I believe in these principles with every fiber of my being:
Faith. Discipline. Integrity. Patriotism.
These are the values I carry with me as a father, a Marine veteran, a
public servant, and a man of God. And these are the values that will
shape every decision I make in Congress.
I’m running for Congress because we need to secure our GOP House
Majority. Democrats have spent the past four years tearing down every
core institution that makes America the greatest country on God’s
green earth. We have to fix their mess before it causes lasting
consequences.
Democrats are more mobilized than ever following their historic defeat
last year. They’re using every dirty trick in the book to try to
take back power, and we need to stop them right here and right now.
