It's now officially September, meaning there's not much time to make sure that everyone counts in the census before the count ends on September 30.

We have to make sure that no one is left out of the final count because each person counted means more funding per person counted for resources in our communities: public schools, health care, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and other critical social services.

If we don't get more volunteers to help people complete the census, we could miss out on getting resources for our community. Can you sign up for a phone banking shift this week?

The ongoing COVID-19 crisis shows how much our communities badly need vital resources, like housing, food, and childcare. If we don't organize and make sure that as many of our neighbors as possible take the census, we could stand to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in critical funding for the next ten years.
