August is here — and while we may be deep in the dog days of summer, our candidates’ sprint to the finish line is just picking up steam. 

This is when EMILYs List starts locking in the final resources, staff, and support our candidates will rely on all the way through Election Day.

Here’s what’s coming up:

📣 New endorsements — including MORE secretaries of state
Secretaries of state oversee how elections are administered, from how ballots are accurately counted to how polling places operate. Earlier this year we endorsed Judge Penny Brown Reynolds and Allison Russo to flip seats in Georgia and Ohio. And this week, EMILYs List is proud to announce our newest round of endorsements, including:

• Dr. Shirley N. Weber — California
• Amanda Gonzalez — Colorado
• Amanda López Askin — New Mexico 

‼️ Primary season is still going strong
So far, 103 EMILYs List-endorsed candidates have won their primary elections — and we’re ready to add even more victories to that total this month.

Voters know that Democratic pro-choice women are the leaders we need to deliver real change, protect our freedoms, and fight for working families.

As we head into the final GOTV push, we're rolling out new EMILYs List merchandise so you can wear your support on your sleeve — literally — while knocking doors, working phone banks, and turning out voters this fall. Stay tuned for more details!
