Dear Diary: It's Me, Jessica: Chapter 13 (Book 3)
 
Hey, everyone! There's been such severe weather in so many parts of the country this week. I hope this message finds you doing well, despite that. 
 
Here, we have had a ton of rain, some bad flash floods, and some wind damage. We only had a brief power outage, not even long enough to remove the air conditioning's coolness from the apartment. From what I'm reading, the worst is yet to come for us this weekend, so we are prepared for that. 
 
On a fun note, and the reason you probably clicked on this message, we have another entry to Jessica's diary today. She goes with Jack and a small group to meet up with their city trade partner and swap information about the newest threat to the area, the well-organized paramilitary group with the drones.
