The July roundups may be over, but the work to protect America's wild horses and burros is not.

Callaghan, Lahontan, and Moriah have ended. Now, new roundup operations are scheduled to begin in Utah and Colorado.

Every roundup is part of a larger system that still needs reform. As one operation ends, another begins, making year-round advocacy, oversight, and public engagement essential.

Upcoming roundup schedule:

• August 2–31 — Piceance–East Douglas Creek, North Piceance, and West Douglas (Western Colorado)
• August 23–31 — Confusion HMA (Western Utah)
• September 1–30 — Carter Reservoir HMA (Northeast California)
