Become a poll worker!

Join us in celebrating National Poll Worker Recruitment Day by signing up to ensure a safe and fair election for all voters!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact Americans across the country, there has been a staggering decrease in the number of people who are able to work the polls -- with your help, we can keep more polling places open and prevent any delays during the election this fall.

You can help make sure we have a safe, fair, and efficient election for all voters, and potentially get paid to do it. Will you help us address our nation’s critical poll worker shortage?

Once you’ve signed up, depending on your jurisdiction, you will either be contacted by Power the Polls, an organization that recruits poll workers or your local election administrators regarding your application.

The Power the Polls team will train you on everything you need to know to be a successful poll worker. You can attend briefings, where they’ll discuss everything from the application process to what to expect when you become a poll worker.

In the meantime, we also ask that you encourage your friends and family to sign up to be poll workers and help ensure your community has a safe election.
