 John, I'm respectfully asking if you can chip in $3 to support my re-election campaign in CA-30. Let me explain why: After the mega-spending unleashed by Citizens United, it's not uncommon to see Democratic candidates resort to creative ways to keep up. Some are even forced to indefinitely pause their work they were elected to do to spend hours making calls to wealthy donors. I'm doing things a bit differently. I'm not slowing down on my work for Los Angeles - our communities' needs are too important. A single donation might not sound like much, compared to the checks that get quoted in the media. But when you chip in, and someone else does as well, these contributions really start to add up. So I'm asking: Will you please send in a donation to help power our campaign in CA-30?
