Dear John,
Among other things, it has been a year of reflection. I turned 40 in June and my wife is currently expecting our third child. August marked twenty years since I served as a delegate for Pat Buchanan at the Reform Party Convention in Long Beach, California. Eighteen years have passed since I earned the highest percentage of the vote that any independent candidate seeking a seat in the Tennessee state legislature had ever won. Sixteen years have gone by since I founded TPC. I wrote my book ten years ago. It has been an interesting life and one that I’m proud to be living. Thanks to you, I’ve been able to engage in serious work. I hope that I can remain a worthy advocate for our cause for years to come.
At a recent TPC event, I took a great deal of pride in seeing the collection of first-rate people who continue to come together in support of our program. Indeed, the work we have done over the many years to foster a true community of listeners who have grown together is unprecedented.
As longtime TPC supporter Courtney from Alabama put it:
Unlike other organizations in our movement, James and his crew really do value the men and women who make up their audience, has friendships with them, and gives them a voice. I have seen first-hand at TPC conferences the extent to which a family atmosphere has been created and how important this is. There is always a sense of optimism that is critical to accomplishing goals and producing results for our people.
I consider what she describes to be the most important victory of my career. Interestingly, at the event she refers to, six men who have had a profound impact on the development of TPC happened to autograph a few copies of my book that are now being used as a commemorative gift for those who contribute this month. (You’ll have to order a special commemorative copy to find out who they are!)
I have a lot of fight left in me. There is so much more than I want to our efforts on the radio accomplish for our people. But your support of our vitally important third quarter fundraising appeal is an essential factor in whether we can.
As I wrote in a letter to some of our financial donors earlier this summer, the stakes are high, and courage has never been in shorter supply. I see what you see and have no illusions about what we are up against. The number of cowards, sellouts, and traitors in our government, schools, media, and churches is astonishing.
But know this: I will never bend the knee. I will stand for you. I will honor our ancestors. And I will fight for our future. With your support, our work at TPC will continue to set an unapologetic example of how our people can carry themselves with dignity and honor through a world gone mad.
Can I count on you to continue to stand with us?

I am blessed to have you in my corner, and I want you to know that you are an inspiration to all of us who work on this broadcast. Come what may, I will do all that I can to encourage you and provide you with steady leadership during these uncertain times. Whatever we must face, let us face it together.
And, with your support, we will.
Onward,
James Edwards
