Hey John,
Last week, Victory Fund candidate Lyn Franks WON her primary for the Alaska state House. And that means we’re one step closer to shattering a huge rainbow ceiling: electing the first openly LGBTQ person to the Alaska state legislature!
Alaska is one of just five states – Delaware, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee being the others - that has NEVER elected an openly LGBTQ state legislator. But this year, we CAN make history in Alaska, Delaware, Mississippi and Tennessee. Donate $5 or more to boost our amazing LGBTQ candidates in these four states! [[link removed]]
We know Lyn has a huge fight ahead of her – she’s running against a sitting incumbent. Lyn lost by just over 200 votes in 2018, and she’s learned a lot from her last campaign. But if Lyn’s going to pull off a win and move Alaska into the rainbow column, she needs our help! Donate $5 or more TODAY to help Lyn and all our candidates running to make LGBTQ history! Thanks again,
Sean Meloy

LGBTQ Victory Fund has helped thousands of openly LGBTQ candidates win elections up and down the ballot, from sea to shining sea since our founding in 1991. We believe representation is power so we elected U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Kyrsten Sinema, Governors Jared Polis and Kate Brown, all seven LGBTQ members of U.S. Congress and countless candidates for state and local government, including Virginia Delegate Danica Roem, Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod and Pennsylvania Assemblymember Brian Sims. And with an unprecedented number of LGBTQ people running for office in this year, we’ll need your support to make 2020 the next Rainbow Wave.
