Nominate someone fighting for the Black community for this unique opportunity for rest A Year of Rest Presented by Getaway and Rachel Cargle In partnership with The Nellie Mae Education Foundation and MiiR Accepting nominations through September 24, 2020 Rest is an integral but often neglected aspect of any movement—sufficient rest rejuvenates our minds and bodies and allows us to bring our best selves to our work. That is why Getaway and anti-racist educator Rachel Cargle, with support from the Nellie Mae Education Foundation and MiiR, are teaming up for their "A Year of Rest" campaign, which will offer in total 365 nights of rest to Black people working for change, and those fighting for the Black community in combating racism. Getaway will provide their tiny cabin outposts as spaces to isolate, disconnect from work, and truly rest for those selected.
