Dear John,

Australians have just had the worst collapse in living standards of any developed country. Spending is at a 40-year high outside the pandemic. Debt is heading past a trillion dollars. And this is the highest taxing government in our history.

You already know this. You’ve seen it on the power bill, at the checkout, and in what your kids can’t afford to buy.

This is what we’d do instead:

Lower taxes. We’ll axe every one of Labor’s toxic taxes and introduce a Tax Back Guarantee, so you keep more of what you earn.

Cheaper power. We’ll scrap Net Zero and make Australia an energy superpower by using all our natural resources to bring prices down.

Less migration, more homes. We’ll end Labor’s mass migration and cap migration to the number of homes we build.

Put Australians first. We’ll bank mining and gas windfalls into a Future Generations Fund to pay down Labor’s debt and build infrastructure that lasts.
