Missouri’s 1st district deserves a real Democrat representing them in Congress.

Justice Democrats

John,

In case it wasn’t bad enough that Do-Nothing Democrat Rep. Wesley Bell is propped up by millions of dollars from AIPAC and corporate super PACs — it turns out his campaign manager has been attending a white supremacist event for years.

A screenshot of a post on x from Ryan Grim (@ryangrim) reading: 'This is absolutely wild: Wesley Bell's campaign manager has been attending the Veiled Prophet ball for years. Notorious event.' below which is a screenshot of a Facebook post from Khalea Edwards that reads, 'Turns out Wesley Bells campaign manager is in the Veiled Prophet. Her & her family have been attending their white supremacists ball for decades. She got a whole album on her Facebook called 'Veiled Prophet Ball' & there are photos of her dad going year after year. This the same secret society actress Ellie Kemper was cancelled for in 2021 after being crowned their 'KKK Princess.' She publically apologized, admitting the Veiled Prophet is 'unquestionably racist, elitist, & sexist.'' alongside two photos from a ball event.

The Veiled Prophet Ball is an infamous whites-only debutante ball that’s taken place in St. Louis since 1878. Not only has Bell’s campaign manager repeatedly attended it, she even worked for Trudy Busch Valentine, who was crowned queen of this racist ball.

We can’t say we’re surprised. Bell himself previously worked as a campaign manager for a Republican before deciding to run for Congress as a Democrat, and to this day he receives financial support from Trump megadonors.

Missouri’s first district deserves a real Democrat representing them in Congress, one who isn’t bought by the pro-Israel lobby, corporate PACs, and MAGA billionaires.

Help progressive champion Cori Bush take back this seat from Bell and the far-right interests backing him on Tuesday: rush a split contribution of $10 or more to her campaign and Justice Democrats before tomorrow’s July deadline!
