If you had told me a few years ago when I was working at my auto-repair shop that Fox News would write an article praising one of my legislative pushes, I probably would have laughed.
Well, wonders never cease:

Look, I’ve honestly never cared about partisan politics or playing games for D.C. cable networks. I’m just interested in fixing what’s broken, restoring basic accountability, and making sure the people representing us are doing their job.
That’s why I pushed for common-sense accountability standards for members of Congress who might be suffering from significant, irreversible cognitive impairment. In every real-world job I’ve ever had, there’s a pretty simple expectation: you actually have to be able to do the work. Either you can do it or you can't. Congress shouldn't be any different.
And I’m proud to be fighting for issues that so many Americans care about — regardless of party lines.
But the big national partisan donors aren't going to fund a campaign like mine that refuses to play by D.C.'s hyper-partisan rules. That means I rely entirely on independent, grassroots supporters like you to keep me in Congress.
Will you chip in $5, $10, or $25 today to keep an independent problem-solver in Congress? [[link removed]?]

Thanks for being in my corner (even when things get surprising!).
