Hi John, it's Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan. I know it's late, but my mind is swirling thinking about these AIPAC ads.

AIPAC-aligned super PACs have now dumped $59+ million into Michigan to prop up their preferred candidate. It's hard to even picture what that much money could do.

But despite that unfathomable amount of cash, I still think we're going to win next Tuesday. Here's why:

AIPAC has done this before, in primary races just like ours. It's spent millions trying to bury campaigns that wouldn't play by its rules – and in almost every one of those races, one of two scenarios plays out:

  1. When a campaign has the resources to tell its own story and break through the noise, AIPAC's ads don't land.
  2. When a campaign runs dry, gets overwhelmed, and can't respond, that's when AIPAC's ads seal their fate.

So the honest answer to whether we get through this isn't complicated. It comes down to whether we have enough grassroots power to keep running our own ads, reaching our own voters, and maintain control of our story before AIPAC defines it for us.

And I fully trust that our team has what it takes to out-maneuver and out-organize $59+ million. I've put my faith in you since the very beginning, and you've never let me down.

I wouldn't be writing to you this late if I didn't believe what you do tonight matters to what happens in this race. So please, John, if you can pitch in $5 or any amount, it would make a real difference. Can I count on you?
