Hi, friend, Leah here, Deb's finance director! 

See this picture of me and Deb? I snapped it when both of our spirits were high. But if I'm being completely honest, we're less enthusiastic these days: We're falling dangerously short of our end-of-month deadline tomorrow. 

Here's why we need you to help us close the gap:

1. Polling shows Deb SIX points behind her GOP opponent, which means we need to ramp up our efforts immediately.

2. Coming up short means we'll have to scale back our plans to travel across New Mexico, meet voters where they are, and share Deb's vision for the future. That could jeopardize our ability to close the gap in the polls and win this race.
