July is almost over.

The air conditioners are working overtime. The ice cream is melting faster than MAGA's credibility. And we've got just one day left to close out the month.

What a month it's been.

* America turned 250 in the middle of a record heat wave.
* Trump gave a primetime address claiming the election system is "rigged and stolen" without a shred of new evidence. Apparently getting his excuses ready before November.
* A few days later, he slapped 50% tariffs on most Canadian goods, because apparently the Iran war driving gas prices through the roof wasn't quite enough economic chaos for one summer.

And through all of it, the heat, the tariffs, the primetime conspiracy theories, we kept showing up.

We've made real progress. And I want to be straight with you about why closing out July strong matters: we're not where we need to be, and the districts that'll decide the House majority don't wait for us to catch up.

Every dollar we raise now goes into the fall campaign.
The ground game.
The voter contact.
The resources we need in the districts that’ll determine who controls the House in November.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: races like mine have a way of looking fine right up until they aren't. IL-06 is winnable. We've proven that. But winnable isn't won, and Republicans are already pouring money into seats just like this one, betting that campaigns like ours will run out of steam before November.
