John, believe it or not, it’s been a little over a year since the Texas legislature caved to demands from President Trump to radically redistrict their state.
We know, one year in Trump's America feels like 10.
Last summer’s redraw in Texas kicked off an unprecedented redistricting crisis that continues to upend fair representation across the country today.
In the months since, Trump and anti-democracy forces have manipulated the maps in Missouri, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, and Louisiana. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court’s gutting of the Voting Rights Act has opened the floodgates for more gerrymandering.
At the same time, the NDR PAC has actively mobilized a powerful grassroots response. We won big when voters in California counteracted Texas’s gerrymander last year, and we have a strategy to fight back against a new wave of redraws and help elect pro-democracy candidates who will put an end to this redistricting crisis.
The bad news is that the GOP power grab is far from over, with some states already starting to redraw 2028 maps.
When you give to the NDR PAC today, you’ll make a massive difference in strengthening our rigorous, multi-front strategy to fight for fair maps nationwide: [[link removed]]
