I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you ahead of our critical fundraising deadline that's just a few hours away. This is the first end-of-month deadline of the general election, and my team just informed me we're still a bit short of our $50,000 online goal.

National Republicans have been targeting my seat since just hours after I was sworn into office. They know this district is key to taking back the House majority, so it's only a matter of time before the attacks against me start. If we're going to have the resources to protect this seat and the Democratic House majority, it's crucial we hit our goal tonight.

I can't do this without you, John. We have less than 70 days until Election Day, and the road ahead of us will be tough. Republicans outvoted Democrats in our primary 49% to 47%. These results are especially concerning since, for the last decade in Washington State, the party that won the primary went on to win in November. We can't let that happen!
